When I was growing up I ignored it but you're always putting people and things around me which conform to how I develop. That's one of the things which gave it away. The earliest I can remember is middle school when you showed me some edgy websites, then chess, then mafia and a bunch of other stuff. They all came up at the exact time when I was looking for something new which fit that description. You can try to tell me that it's because I was looking for things like those or that they're coincidences I'm making a big deal about of but that isn't true. Everything gets put in my lap. I don't know why I'm telling you this. I think I'm just getting bored. Use it in your next runs.
Today I [40M] caught my wife [19F] having an orgy [2hrs] with my sister [19F], father [81M], and nanny [107F]. I took my bags [9lbs] and left to an overnight motel [$40/n] to think things out. Should I end our marriage [3yrs] or try therapy [$100/hr]??
Why isn't the government putting a ban on AI for private companies? Are they really that stupid?
AI is the future
I think when it comes down to it and this place is nearly uninhabitable (in as little 5-15 years) what will happen is: -Some will retreat to subterranean cities. Most countries started building these 20 years ago. China has theirs, Russia does. We built one into the Ozarks. -Some will retreat to DUMBs expecting to have some hope of survival. -The rest of us will, if we can remain organized, scramble to launch something of ourselves and our world to a distant star system. -Create an AI connected to enough infrastructure to bootstrap taking total control. The last one is probably the best we can do. Leave behind a God to watch over the godless world we so utterly failed, and hopefully prevent it from becoming like Venus. Grand solar minimum or none, if we trigger methane release at the rate we are, that may well be what happens. It's exponential.
