since there is a 1500 minimum point thing for competitive, why not make it so joining the competition takes those points (i.e. subtracts them) and therefore it will keep gamethrow accounts from playing because they would have to farm 1500 points worth of games to get into every competition. (the points gained from competition would go towards the points and you could join the next round using those points if you dont have the necessary amount of points otherwise).
there should still be a cumulative point counter where it keeps track of all of the points you've ever gotten like it is currently.

We should just increase the minimum to 5 or 10k score for main accounts, and as long as your main has that score, all linked alts can join regardless of score
did you see what i said? the points awarded in competitions count toward the points used in future competitions. if they run legitimately they can absolutely join the future competitions. unless theyre terrible and can't get the amount needed (also we can reduce the amount subtracted to 500 if need be)
but not everyone farms points- there are some legitimate users that dont play that much- probably about 3 or 4 red heart games every 2 days.. but probably run in actual competitions- this would mean that they'd have to play a lot more to join future competitions which is annoying since not everybody has time for that
