Hey guys, so I see a lot of you play LoL in the chat, and I wanna try it. I played it two years ago and got to level 7 against bots before I kinda decided to quit cuz I wasn't good and I didn't have any friends who played.

Would anyone be willing to teach me the ropes? Maybe we could start up a Sandbox/EM mentor program.

So just a few questions:

What's a good position (if that's what it's called) to start out with? I know there's: Top (tank I think), Mid (mage), Jungler/Ganker, Bot/ADC, and Support. I tried ADC but I was pretty bad haha.

What are some good champions to save up for/buy?

Should I just uninstall the game now?

like im pretty sure there's a big difference between showing someone the ropes and training them to be competitive

a lot of diamond players will do one on one training sessions w ppl who want to increase their rank im pretty certain the mentees

for instance i have support runes tailored specifically for namis kit but thats the only rune page i even have so every champ i play gets support runes and i main bursty mages

yea but i mean if you dont play enough to afford runes with ip then ur probably too casual to care about runes anyway

they're pure stats, you can't just say they don't interest you, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage without them

i mean runes r pretty cheap i can buy decent runes with a couple games worth of IP but if u dont play frequently then stuff like runes probably doesnt interest u anyway

theres some micro transactions but they dont really give u an edge unless u dont play very often, u get points for playing/completing games that u can use to buy almost everything except skins which do require irl $

Every week there's a free rotation of champions, you can permanently unlock champions you like by either saving up points from playing games or spending real money. It's not too hard tbh
