I thought the people who actually thought they could stop people from saying rtard were crazy, this one here is on a whole nother level of crazyy
Devanteover 10 years ago
Anyone who thinks that a moderator should interviene in someone n1ing another is stupid lol

Regardless of their timezone, the chances of somene flipping mafia is about 1/4 in every setup, meaning if they play together all night they'll only be n1 by that person in 1 comp game per night lol

There are no other games to play at that time. Asking the player to simply stop trying to grudge the other player is by far the most reasonable solution.
I mean I see where you're coming from because you have to be pretty douchey to grudge N1 someone all night with no other games open but still it's not reportable imo

nice thread...

I haven't asked or tried to get modded, you are just wrong in this instance.

And frankly, I'm offended that you, my friend, would try to insult me like that.

"you normally wouldn't be breaking a rule, but since you're playing during the twilight zone hour, you must face a trial by fire"

If you disagree with me you're wrong, so instead of posting more contrarian nonsense figure out why you're wrong and correct your thinking.
stop trying to get harry to mod you

"i don't want to be n1'd by this player"

"don't play with them"

"NO WE SHOULD FORCE THEM TO NOT PLAY WITH ME"
deleteddeletedover 10 years ago
You're losing sight of the fact that it's a game and Num is targeting fox when possible to stop her from being able to play. While yes I agree he shouldn't be punished for simply killing her whenever he can, empathetically speaking he's hindering her from being able to play the game over something silly so stepping in and trying to stop that is perfectly reasonable.

It's part of the game and should be allowed.
deleteddeletedover 10 years ago
mafia should not be punished for killing n1

That should be no vio'd but since it's obvious Fox is being targeted she should be allowed to ask NumLocke to leave a game if she's already in it and doesn't want to get n1'd

Does that not seem fair?
fox should just dodge the player or make his/her own game and ask him to not join
The concern with that report inparticular is that they are playing at EU timezones, and there aren't many tables up for grabs around those hours.
that is horrid reasoning
To be fair he didn't say that the time zone influenced their decision since it's obvious he is grudging fox, he mentioned that as a concern aka something to be mindful of when deciding what the most fair outcome of the report should be since it wouldn't be fair to simply tell Num to avoid games with her.

The best outcome is probably as Roadman said before which is to tell him that he should allow his partner to start picking the kill n1 and that any further 'harassment' (harassment used really lightly here) could result in something more severe or a violation.

i was referring to the extreme example of somebody who will always n1 you playing in all your games, at times where no other games are open. i can see why that would be annoying.

deleteddeletedover 10 years ago
there are certain people i'll always n1 if i get the chance. it's nowhere near harassment or lobby camping. it's part of the game
peachover 10 years ago
reading this thread made me want to grudge myself irl

n1'ing someone, no matter why or how many times you do it literally cannot be a violation, stop trying to make up stupid technicalities you idiots lol

Harassment, no, but lobby camping is only debatable if you judge it by how it's currently written

so basically no to both
perekingover 10 years ago
if it happens across many games with one person being adamant on the kill it could be harassment or lobby camping, not gt though
