The US has done a lot more to curb emissions than has China.
Like ship their high-emission factory work overseas to China. Stellar work, America.

Also if you didn't know, China is like 3x worse in CO2 emissions than the US is
oddly enough china also has 3x the population of the US
I'm not sure on that statistic

The issue is that the manufacturing cities in China produce pollution at the levels the US did several decades ago. The closest polluting city is LA, but it's still only a fraction of China's 20th most polluting city.

The US has done a lot more to curb emissions than has China.

You think he has it "pretty straight forward" because you're an idiot and he talks to you like you're five so that you understand.

It's either Trump or Hillary for me.

I don't want no nasty Socialist where the only reason people like him is because he's the new fad
I was going to make a post about how I believed in American voters this time and maybe Bernie could win, but then you made this post and proved Peta right.
Bernie is not in the best interest for the US

His taxation plan is bat**** crazy. His foreign policy is nonexistent.

College is not a right, it's a privilege.

Trust Ted.
I was lol'ing when he was addressing texas.

He was just stating basic facts

"Obama's last day is jan. 20th!"

"after jan. 20th, Obama wont be president anymore!"

and the crowd was going craaazy
Donald Trump answers no legitimate questions ever. People go crazy and support him because he "says it like it is," but "what it is" is incredibly imbecilic and arrogant.

You seriously cannot question the intellect or choice of words by someone like Ted Cruz when you show full blown support for Trump.
I have to disagree

I think he has it pretty straight forward with national security and healthcare (which was just recently released)

He never really had a chance, by design, but it's fun to dream.

If Bernie loses Michigan tonight (doesn't seem like he will) he will have no more chance at being POTUS

im not going to take a stance on this other than to say that Earth isnt what's at risk here. the only potential thing at risk is our comfort and continued existence here. the earth has been here for billions of years. it's not going anywhere. it's gone through much bigger temperature fluctuations, it'll still be here once we're gone. new species will takeover our ecological niche when we're gone because that is how the earth always has and always will be.

and yes some other animal species will probably go extinct if they cant adapt but new ones will take their place. change is fun.
This is a good post

If Bernie gets nominated then we're in trouble. Put aside the question of whether his platform is better than Hillary's. The GOP propaganda machine will eat him alive. All it will need to do is convince some small percentage of stupefied virtually illiterate citizens that he's a communist and he'll be toast.
Kind of like how those same illiterate citizens already believe that Clinton should be on trial for actual war crimes?
Personally I find all these charges against her nonsense

past secretary of states have all done it before using a personal server for their communications

They attack Hillary because they know they can't beat her.

If Trump wins the primaries, I don't think the GOP will even nominate him and he'll run independent.
then the GOP base will feel betrayed and leave them

Global Warming definitely isn't man MADE, but it's definitely helped along by man. However, the earth does go through normal cooling and warming periods, so this could very well be a normal thing; it might happen no matter how much we stop using things that warm up the atmosphere. I do not think it's such a big issue and deserves to be a major political platform. We could all benefit from slowing down the warming process but all in all I think it's normal.
let me explain to you the immediate effects of climate change i have seen first hand.

so i work with sea lions and during the winter, we increase their kcals so they gain fat to stay warm in the winter (its their natural inclination to do this anyway). well since there was no indication for them that winter was coming this year, they didnt want to eat more food which led to them being skinnier than normal during the winter months. which is not good.

another example, this past week, i have seen increased aggression in one of the sea lions due, in part, to him thinking it was breeding season (due to the warm weather), this has had a negative effect on the females in the enclosure with him.

so imagine this issue, but multiplied by however many animals that rely on the climate for cues such as mating or putting on fat.

it's a real issue and humans aren't the center of the goddamn universe

Well with that logic, you're gonna die some day anyways, whether it be sooner or later.

If you don't like the bipartisan system (and you shouldn't) you should vote for Jill Stein. She won't win, but if she gets 5% of the vote the Green party would get equal fundraising rights, and your vote could make an actual difference for once instead of picking the lesser of two evils.
If taking this baby step is more important to you than dodging the enormous cultural bullet of a Trump or Cruz presidency then I seriously hope you stop following the election and opt not to vote in November.
I'm not too concerned, I don't think the GOP has any chance whatsoever.

Well, as a believer in God, I believe everything in this planet is God-made.

However, that does not mean I deny all science like some religious people. I believe religion, science, and philosophy all form a bigger picture together, and none of them are totally correct or incorrect.
Do you think if we all stopped blaspheming so much, God would take a chill pill and not scorch us all to death?
this is just incentive to continue blaspheming
