Idk what you guys are on, Litten's final form looks badass. Plus I heard it's confirmed to be fire/dark which makes sense since it looks like a hellcat. I love all of those final forms and I think once the real images come out and not the rough sketches people will like them a lot more. Not sure if I'm a fan of the gym challenge thing considering gyms sorta made the game for me, but hopefully that's just a side quest thing like contests. I'm really iffy on the whole different type thing as well since it feels like I'm playing pokemon insurgence but hey who knows.

I like swans, draconic fairy-tale creatures, moons, and all the colors in the Cresselia palette, yet I don't find Cresselia majestic or cute in the least. That crest is ugly, the body shape is basic and laconic and doesn't resemble anything creature-esque, the beak doesn't look like a beak, and it just doesn't look graceful or menacing. It looks halfassed to me tbh. Lunaala is actually both a clever design and a really cool one. Also, it's a legendary pokemon based on a small, adorable creature irl. It's actually unique and surprising for pokemon.

I also don't think there's anything wrong with them retyping old pokemon because it adds a mild level of novelty without making weirder and weirder designs re:these starter evos burn my eyes

First off, new Alola forms, basically pokemon from old gens re skinned and re typed (Vulpix and Ninetails are ice type, eggexecute is a palm tree, sandslash and sandshrew are ice),

lots of new pokemon revealed that look pretty terrible IMO,

NO GYMS OR ELITE FOUR. New thing called the island challenge, you have to travel to each island, meet the Challange captain or some sh!t, solve puzzles, do quests, defeat Totem Pokemon (Regular pokemon with a power boost, and the ability to call backup), and then beat the Island Master dude.

Seems like tons of different pokemon can be ridden, tauros, sharpedo, the ground horse thing...

Finally, Z-Powers, each type has a Z Power, and every pokemon can use it (ex Pikachu can use the electricity z type), and it can only be used once per battle.

This is very different from the pokemon we know and love lads
