forum mafia 11: the game

I. The Schedule:
36 hours per day, 12 hours per night.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
A lynch will happen immediately if a supermajority vote is reached (e.g. 9/16)
At end of day, "No votes" count as "no one" votes, but will not count towards a mid-day supermajority vote of "no one". The player with the most votes at that end of day, (including "no one") will be lynched.
Days can be ended early without a lynch by a supermajority "no one" vote.

i explained why i didn't react or get into it with him so i looked to someone like you to explain to me why i could be wrong. i'm not someone who sticks to one read for the rest of the game and can't change it, i'm willing to admit that i can be wrong on things, and again, if i didn't make it clear, me asking people like you were to get a second opinion which would open up discussion. if my opinion had change on lick before i would've told you but it didn't, hence me asking.
okay whatever. I don't think Stragger is scum here but they're clearly experienced so I'm wishy-washy on them. What kind of sound effect is "ggggfffff"? This last part is especially important.

Yeah, that's valid. I certainly think the lick push was unjustified FMPOV but then I realized Stragger clearly has more experience with forum mafia and probably has different impressions because of it. Case in point, JeffReid.
On you? I gave a decent bit of it last page. I did mention I actually misread one of your posts which now has me doubting myself but essentially I wasn't following your thought process at all and it didn't really look like you were doing any real scum hunting, just making trite observations. Then the way you acted so dismissive when the player you were pressuring actually reacted to you. I would of preferred you either reaffirmed your push or at the very least acknowledged his lines. Instead you just prodded people who disagreed with you which I felt was scummy.
ggggggffff I still want to vote Stragger but I'm almost positive people won't follow me on this unless I'm really persuasive and quite frankly I don't think I have it in me. My read on him feels like it makes sense in my head but I can't elaborate to any effective extent in words. I guess this is what you nerds would call a gut read.
Oh Jeff? Uhh... honestly? I haven't him closely. I can ISO him in a bit if it would please you, Scumger.
I could out more of my town reads and I could go into full detail on every single one of them but giving reasons so early why I find Sincerely town and Jeff scum could help mafia more on saying "Oh hey look ____ is right that person is really towny." and die so All you need to know is that

as someone who has been scum before and used almost the same exact lines here to disengage an argument - the answer is yes.
She didn't have to be outing that townread, Uranus. She could have just kept it internally. Like I mostly kept internally my TRs on both Claire (good entrance, I forget what else) and JeffReid (he's acting way too frustrated to be scum, although that could be forced, but I also gut TRd him early on so I'm not voting it). and im not explaining them more because I can't, at least without iso reading them, which would be sorta pointless 'cause I'm not changing either one at this point in time.

unfortunately i disagree and me asking why they townread lick was me trying to gauge more opinions on him. i didn't feel talking in circles with lick, especially due to how he plays was really worth it. how do you feel about jeff?
Unless I missed a page somewhere the only person who said anything about lick being town was me and I explained that at the time.

that pastebin was notes and scrambled thoughts, nothing more and nothing less. what i posted after was basically the summary of it and i did that to show what my thought process was for the pages that i was reading.
that's exactly why i didn't like them. the joke posts. they haven't really continued to do much in my eyes that has changed my mind (i did read it) and his whole interaction with sonrio was absolutely silly. i asked people to explain why they townread him because i wanted a second opinion.
Alright I'm gonna step away then for a little because I'm getting frustrated because I feel horribly misunderstood. Sorry guys for pissing you all off. I'm legitimately trying here.
First things first. This isn't ruby mafia, people have other stuff going on other than this forum mafia. Not posting for a few hours is one of the stupidest things to try to read into for alignment tells. Stop doing it. This means you, Jeff.
Anyway, I actually misread one of Stragger's earlier posts around where they gave a notes pastebin (I missed him mentioning me in his wrapup after the bin which felt odd since I was mentioned multiple times but I guess I must of just had a brain lapse because there's no edit and it's right there). So I'm not quite as strong on this vote but it stays for now. I don't like his bin. A lot of his reads are passive or meaningless.
The only thing of any real substance in that bin was lick being scum which is kind of silly considering they had just make a few joke posts. If it was to apply pressure sure but when they got pressured and made more content you just hop in and entirely dismiss them without even addressing anything they said.
I looked back and like, the only positive comment on them was my own, and I explained my reasoning. Claire agreed with a point they made but didn't actually out any read on them. Unless I missed something, you seem to be both overreacting & ignoring one post I made which is honestly really impressive, especially considering you said yourself you need to see more from me.
