i'd actually like to see statistics or EV on that compared to the original way of mafia hiding in blues for VDLI Dawn; i think it'd be very similar except if both mafia survive day 1 when one ccs oracle, then their winning odds are better

all the other mafia has to do is survive the 1/4 chance for autoloss in the blue claims and then mafia has decent winning chances after hit bp n2 -> bp death n3 and then orc ccs in 5way lylo

if mafia don't cc oracle day 1, it's a normal game of VDLI p much, and normal VDLI is the most balanced setup on the website for the number of plays it has. i think if mafia ccd oracle on day 1 every time, the setup would be scumsided slightly; i truly believe that either strategy would be ok for mafia--if they cc oracle and neither die day 1 then their chances to win are very similar...it's definitely a riskier play for not that much greater of a reward, but things like the players at the table matter for trying that kind of thing as well
