Post if you wanna join, this is a game for 8. I've run this twice before and both times were quite successful.
From the Wiki:
The Resistance is a game where players attempt to deduce one another's identities. The setting of the game is an imagined battle between a resistance group trying to overthrow the malignant government and the government spies infiltrating the resistance group. It is similar in structure to party games such as Mafia and Werewolf, where a small, secret group of informed players attempt to disrupt a larger uninformed group, while the larger group attempts to identify the spies and eliminate them. The Resistance uses slightly different mechanics from similar games, and was designed to avoid player elimination and increase available information for player decisions.
Better than mafia as no one is lynched and everyone participate till game end.
This game will be for 8 players, 5 Knights of Arthur, and 3 Minions of Mordred.
For those unfamiliar,
Each day, a player is a quest leader (this follows a set order) and nominates a certain amount of people to go on the mission.
Everyone then votes on whether the quest should push through or be aborted.
If the quest is aborted, the day ends and the next person becomes leader.
If the quest pushes through, those on the mission proceed to PM me their action for the quest. Knights of Merlin members are required to always pass the quest, whilst Minions of Mordred can choose to either pass or fail. It only takes 1 fail for a quest to fail (except on the 4th quest, which takes 2)
Win Cons:
If 3 of the 5 quests succeed, the Knights of Arthur win the game.
If 5 nominations fail in a row, the Minions of Mordred win the game.
If 3 of the 5 quests fail, the Minions of Mordred win the game.
So you're saying you would risk a 50/50 shot at PICKING SOME WHO WILL OBV FAIL IT LIKE LAST TIME over someone else who has not been on a mission to collect more data?..Alrighty I don't get who's scum in u2 your whole day 1 was ugh but Nicki picking those is almost like she has no need to care and that's very true for scum when all you need is for this to pass
Perhaps the stupid gimmick has left you a bit slow on the uptake. If you assume there's one scum in the two that were in the last quest and so you're going to avoid them, that means you have to pick three people in five. Which still means you have to pick perfectly.
Either you're excluding someone from the previous quest group, or you're excluding someone from the others. Regardless you have to have perfect reads in the group you're not making an exclusion from.
Sonia you fail to realize realize that from our/nicki's PoV, you have the exact same chances of picking town whether you choose an extra person inside the previous quest or not. Unless of course you assume that BOTH people on the last quest besides yourself are scum.
F it i'm gonna try now since you guys clearly need me i'm obv failing this because it's quite simple that it will fail for some reason Nicki chose to pick 1 of the people who failed it idk why you're taking that 50/50 1 scum is on there for sure fmpov and i'm pretty sure It's Uranus "I'm gonna random pick people at day start and YOLO LOL" and it just so happens this fails? Give me a break Also my reads stay the same the fact you scum read me for a bit of a joke makes me laugh don't try using me as a cop out u2
alright so i'm going to nominate jack, stragger, uranus, and myself. i'm nominating them because i believe they are all town from what happened after the first quest.
I'm not sure why Sonia is acting like a gimmicky idiot but I'm going to scumread her for it in hopes that she'll stop and cease hurting the town by refusing to talk coherently.
I'm pretty sure this mission has at least two scum in it and if you people pass it then we're beyond hope.
btw jack is someone who i would approve to go on quests for the remainder of the game. nobody considers that you can just keep approving people that you townread either, and i think the point of there not being experience is actually a good one. jack, do you have any leads of who might've failed the mission barring their inexperience?
i think if it was a calculated move to fail the first quest, it may've been sonia because she knows the game well. at the same time she knows the game so if she was evil she might rather go the deep cover route and succeed quest 1. so clearly i have no idea. but sonia's one to keep an eye on for sure.
i'm also gonna change to reject this quest because i think we need a little more info/talking before we decide
The more I talk to Stragger the more I think he's town which means I'm pretty sure this mission is going to fail. Abort.

if it makes you feel better i think your doubt makes you a better candidate than someone who is staying silent. this game is easily won if people talk to each other and that i firmly believe. i also want to abort this mission because two phases of the same case of picking rando's won't do us good
I mean I get that just pouting and saying "I won't pass a mission until I'm on it." is annoying but just.. uhg. I'm scared this is about to go from bad to worse.
