Heyyyy everyone, this'll be the main thread for the game I'm hosting, along with my cohosts, mist and Hibiki!
I. The Schedule:
36 hours per day, 12 hours per night.
I'm looking at a January 1st start date, but if the game fills up quickly it can start sooner! It'll likely begin at noon, PST, January 1st.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
We've decided to change this rule up a bit! Due to how people were lynched before they were even given a chance to speak, we're making it so that the supermajority lynch rule will take affect once 24 hours have passed. So if a day were to start at noon on Jan 1st, supermajority lynch rules will take affect at noon, Jan 2nd until midnight on Jan 3rd, and so on. If a supermajority lynch takes place (like 9/16 votes on someone) they are automatically lynched and this ends the day.
If you want to vote, use this "[b] vote: player name [/b]"
If you want to unvote, use this "[b] unvote: playername [/b]"
Anything that's not bolded will not be counted!
VI. Voting Log:
Since I'm not sharing accounts with a cohost, we're going back to the old voting log! Which is I will probably periodically post a voting log during the day if requested. (This is probably the hardest part about hosting)

he made a giant fuss out of me saying "i didn't get a role message, am i town?" i think that mafia are less likely to get that things are jokes. it's a weak read, but lynching him over slowbro is pretty much policy now anyways
sincerely, last game i was a single use parity cop and there was also a full on alignment cop. i think that it's better to evaluate claims as they come
The tell that comes to the forefront of my mind is when Calvin read Voluntaryloser's trolly joke dumbtell as a real attempt to be townread and SR'd him for it. He hasn't really been participating since then, though, which makes me worry he is just a blue.
I think cops should claim because it's unlikely there are two different cops in one game, VL.

Someone needs to explain me the scum-esk reads on calvin since day 1. I never understood it and will not be lynching him unless I see it myself

i strongly disagree with investigative prs claiming
EDIT: That's not a "whatever" to PRs claiming. All investigative PRs, or at least all cops, should claim right now because this dude isn't clear. I'm not sure about watcher-esque PRs since those could be in a setup with cops although I'm kind of doubting it since we have a doc and stuff
Lol... After reading through all of Volentarys lines day 1, I've determined he was no buddying Tucker but just suggesting other lynches would be better.... <.< I'm going to watch some football.
Lines like this are largely why I TR you, Slick. Maybe I shouldn't TR so easily, but you're playing well if you're mafia with regards to forcing a towny demeanor here. Anyway, you can't ask mafia to do that and then vote one of the most active players in the game. I personally want to lynch the people that are null leaning scum before the people that are likely to continue giving tells throughout the game.
I also think Tisguy must be claiming cop because I don't recall Slowbro and Calvin interacting once.
HEY HEY HEY before anything else I'd like to say we are NOT lynching VL today. It's not even about a hard TR. It's just a bad lynch compared to other people, okay? Not like he's a threat on LYLO, which it most likely isn't RN.
i see what you mean though fmpov you're still the best lynch when considering how the game's panned out so far
i'm open to changing my vote if a better lynch opportunity comes along mind you so don't think i'm latching on to this

i had conviction against the votes, not for him. i explained what i thought of each one. it was not just that he was a townread, because he was not a townread. i didn't like the direction that town was going, so i tried to change it
there's a difference between buddying and defending. i don't deny defending him, but if you want to give a case for my buddying him i'd be happy to hear it
i think that you're town for the way you gave your read on tucker. i don't think it was a good read, but the way that you gave it seemed to come from a town perspective

The next line you post better be worth something or you get lynched day three. Believe that
and thus the final member of the tucker strongarm casts his vote over the perennial buddy, and it is not because you buddied him so much as trying to deny that you buddied him earlier today.
i'd like to also know what's made me be (up until this post) townread by a lot of you
