I remember back when we had the discussion about legitimate admin elections. Lucid seemed so serious about devising a voting system that would be truly fair and representative.

He wanted a system that wouldn't be subject to bandwagon voting as a result of instant public results like this poll had.

He wanted a system that would take into account the second/third choices of voters whose candidates weren't elected (i.e. if most of the supporters of Pranay, Bigpock, and Gerry chose Soda as their second choice, Soda would win over Solace).

He wanted representation from many perspectives, not just some random mashup of candidates Johnreid put together.

And yet in only a few months, all of that has changed. He now apparently thinks that choosing new admins from a random poll without letting any of us know ahead of time that this poll should be taken seriously is a good idea.

The only thing that will stop us getting banned is the fact games expire
