Is there anything actually wrong with Solace as a pick, or are we just complaining about the method it was picked in?

Is that supposed to be something I should be concerned about?

Is she (he?) a banned user? Someone who didn't understand the rules? Someone who just had a terrible reputation? If they've modded for so long as Solace and haven't caused any issues, what's the problem? If their identity or intelligence was really that relevant we would have seen a problem. I mean, yeah it's concerning that they hid it, but is that really a disqualification when they've done the job fine and show no signs of stopping?

Solace may be a good admin, but is Solace the best admin, the admin that the community would choose democratically, or at least the admin that Lucid would choose without being influenced by this poll?

If Lucid wasn't influenced by this poll in any way then that's fine, but I get a little concerned with this odd coincidence and the fact that I count 21 people in the visible voters whose accounts were made in the last two months.

That almost stalkerish and kind of scary.
