yeah matt i mean personally im torn because i see both sides. i don't think becomeclear put conscious effort into cheating but im slightly biased toward the situation because 1. i think jacob deserves to trophy 2. ive seen becomeclears attitude and i dont like it at all. when zwink was pastebinned he was outright told to leave the game with her repeatedly by a mod and refused to. i therefore dont see him making an effort to avoid banned users 3. when you have gerry who makes a 22 page defense and him who does jack sht, it doesnt seem fair
id also like to take this time to make a formal complaint that i had 0 sheriff flips this round, and i flipped mafia like 8 more times than anyone else in the top 5.
abc created a number of accounts all in the 499,99x range trying to grab the 500,000 account. cridi was one of those 499,99x accounts. he didn't care about it and decided to throw games at random (he does this often, see jasonstatham for example).
becameclear happened to be in those games cridi threw (~4) by sheer coincidence. mods should have refunded the hearts but they didn't. now that time is out, 4 throws is not enough to warrant a dq
becameclear is from israel (IL) and doesnt know anything about abc. he's legit
What about a thread restoring my credibility as a non cheating player after the mods spent an entire thread saying exactly the opposite with "funny" images and remarks about my grammar or other irrelevant things
oh my god i was going to actually look into the games myself, then you said this which is literally what every single banned user i've banned has pm'd me and said lmao
but what if u paused the round for another day and then tomorrow i come with a counter counter bin? then we have to pause the round again. but then he comes back with a counter counter counter bin! well, you know i cant let that go uncontested so in turn i will have to make a counter to that. its a slippery slope i tell ya
The thing is I feel like people wh aren't frequent mafia players on this site and really tangled up can't always be effed to make a counterbin bc theyre just annoyed cuz playing for fun
I'm not excusing it or saying it justifies anything but i remember when i was new getting pastebinned for ogi/meta and being like "wtf u crazy y would i waste time making a bin" in my head
