Welcome

This is minefield. Above you'll see a 10 x 10 grid, and under each black square is either a mine, a point value ranging from -5 to +5, or a special power. Each person may uncover one square every 1 hour and receive the value beneath the card. The person alive with the most points when the last square is revealed wins.

To uncover a square, comment "Uncover row# x column#"

If you reveal a mine card, your are eliminated from the game. There are 10 mines hidden in the board.

If you reveal a point value card, you receive the points denoted by the card. There is no set amount of any point value.

If you reveal a power card, you can perform the action denoted by the power card. There are 5 power cards hidden in the board:

• Hide a mine: Secretly hide an extra mine anywhere in the board
• Point Trade: Trade point totals with anyone in the game
• Immunity: Immunity from one mine
• Doubler: The value of the next square you reveal will be doubled
• Kamikaze: Return the point totals of you and someone of your choice back to zero.

Strategy: All power cards are touching at least one mine by a corner or edge, as well as several +5 point values. Use this to guess the locations of mines, high point values, and power cards.
