Who will win?

Obviously not a moderator, because volunteering for your website isn't something that deserves a reward.

the prize isn't for the person who wins a gold trophy, it's for whoever finishes first.

No new innovations would be able to be made to this site because "people will cheat" will always be the excuse that holds it back. This game is way too easy to cheat in. Most of the cheaters don't even try to trophy. Until someone figures out a way to stop cheating altogether, just let the mods do their best to find them so we can enjoy a new and fun activity for a change.

A betting pool would make rounds more interesting. Ten or so people putting in $10~$20, and splitting it three ways amongst the ones with the most points in some span of time. Something like that.

There will be great competition, and only one will emerge the best [or the luckiest], and that is who will be getting the money. I don't see a problem with that.
