I. The Schedule:
36 hours per day, 12 hours per night
Day 1 begins at 11 am EST September 19th.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
A lynch will happen immediately if a supermajority vote is reached. (e.g. 9/16)
At end of day, "No votes" count as "no one" votes, but will not count towards a mid-day supermajority vote of "no one". The player with the most votes at that end of day, (including "no one") will be lynched.
Days can be ended early without a lynch by a supermajority "no one" vote.

You could be right. Four people were scumreading me, though. It would be a lot easier if he were mafia to let that pan out. It's not as if the way he went about it seemed like a pocketing attempt.
From someone with much more forum mafia experience than everyone else in this thread combined, that's not the case.
Why wouldn't mafia want to appear as if they're helping without actually contributing anything to finding mafia? That's like literally one of the easiest things to do as mafia.
There isn't much depth. All of my townreads are just wouldn't-lynch-today people. His attempting to coach me is towny from my POV, since that's usually not a mafia-to-town interaction. "You're missing the point so why bother" and "it's too early in the game to be defensive" read as town.
Make the case cause I'm super drunk also hi abe. Anyways yeah the point is don't make reads you aren't going to stick by or at least base off of because right now people are casually throwing reads around when really there isn't much content and we still have a lot of time in the day

I'd make a case if it wasn't so friggin' obvious. Between the classical over-seriousnous of a mafia player attempting to appear as if they're town to the incongruity of claiming that "they're repeating what everyone had already said" while also "townreading everyone", there's no way not to vote this guy.
Why would I be okay sitting back with minimal reads day one? All that does is set mafia up for an easy mislynch. You're acting like I've said I'm sticking to my daystart reads for the entire game
My point is everything so far has been incredibly filler and it seems like you're trying to make concrete reads out of basic statements. It doesn't mean you're sick, in retrospect it's more of a warning in case you're town that you're basing your reads off of really easy to fabricate lines. It's too early in the game to be defensive

Don't you read people based on the way they come across? This is the start of the game. lol! Was it my calling her a snow leopard that gave me away? Specific lines would be nice, seeing as how this is forum mafia.
Scumreading me for "saying a lot of nothing" at the start of day one is probably one of the dumber things that I could have seen from someone who actually knows how mafia is played
i don't really get the town reads on sincerely, seem like her politeness is making her town for people. don't have a solid read on her just think the town reads are a bit exaggerated. (for example, how sonrio is so hard pressed on sincerely being town, i don't get)

Yea my townread on sincerely has gotten a lot less with this last page, he had a really genuine start tho, i think sonrio is the most town at the moment
same, also agreed with sonrio on the Helba has said a lot of nothing this game so far, hes also forcing interaction with sincerely which i also don't like
Helba's going on about Ultraaug's alignment is scummy, its not a big factor whether or not hes town/scum from his day start and hes dragging it out and over questioning.
Also satan is overdoing the joking thing too (its annoying not alignment telling), those are my reads so far
I'm on mobile so I'm just going to just make sure I'm aware of what's going on when I actually try to formulate reads, but this is what I've gotten so far in terms of what happened so far: satan was trying to be funny, helba has a billion reads that hav3 come out of nowhere, everyone townread sincerely for nothing more than sounding pretty and questioning like one person, ling insulted sonrio and everyone scumread jaleb for appologizing. Anything I miss?
i tried for a bit and realized i was just repeating what had allready been said. eh edit: i townread like everyone so im not very good at this. i wish the people who are not talking would start talking
Helba is town by what he did (and didn't) say so far this game.
Satan shouldn't be town or scum read yet, as he is trying to continue doing something from pregame.
Sincerely is jumping to conclusions after only seeing 2 of my comments from a game that has very little to read on yet. I haven't cared to look closely if sonrio actually is not helping or not.
I hope anthony is town this game, apparently he is one of the few people who tr'd me last game.
That line was indeed a little strange, especially since Sonrio proceeded to imply in the next couple posts that he wasn't necessarily going to bed yet... I think? Idk.
He's not hard town for me but the caps lock earlier seemed genuine although I'm kind of afraid of getting pocketed. Overall, he has been a pretty mixed read, imo.
Ling, Jaleb, and possibly Arcbell (as you've voted, Helba) are all preferable lynches today fmpov, however. Also, I don't think I'll be changing my vote until Jaleb comes back and starts contributing. Hello, Jaleb. Anything to say that doesn't look like a sarcastic reiteration of what has already been established? O.o
