Should cheaters/banned be mods?

Should people who have cheated and/or been banned for any reason in the past be moderators?

This site used to refuse anyone who has been banned for any reason even if they were unbanned later during mass unbannings.

Now it seems as though the admin is cool with it, but what does the community think?

[in case you're wondering, togepi the moderator is both a formerly banned user and a cheater. sims the admin is her friend and trusts her but we all know how that has gone in the past]

I think the notion that we should ban one time cheaters from moderating is silly when we can't even moderating the game this site revolves around in a way that doesn't encourage being a vegetable.

She never did anything worthy of a ban, meanwhile notorious villain Kelly still walks this earth and once had 20~ active violations in a 6 month period.

The jist of moderating consists of explaining to people what technicality someone isn't getting a violation for so why does it matter?

Also since you're ignorant go look up the complaint thread made for Anthony who also is a cheater.
