I've been sitting in lobby waiting for this Poker game to start(https://epicmafia.com/game/4116881 - join up, we need one more!), and Burtonx has started about 4 setups trying to get his gold hearts played. But there's a problem - there is always another setup and it's hosted by Ruse players. At the moment it's prezabama and emiliewu.
However, take a look at the top two Ruse players this round, messi4life and yehet21. Every single one of their last 10 games has been played with multiple other Ruse players: Messi(2 others, 2, 2, 3, 1, 3, 2, 2, 1, 3, 3) and yehet21(3 others, 4, 4, 4, 2, 1, 3, 2, 2, 1, 3).
So as I see it, we have an issue with this family. There are at least two players who are noticeably suspect: Messi and Yehet. They have ignored the mods rule that Ruse players shouldn't play comp together, and have instead consistently continued playing with an average of 2(Messi) and 3(Yehet) other Ruse players in their games.
Meanwhile, burton, Emilie, and Prez(all of whom have played in at least one of those last 10 games above), are making multiple comp setups in an effort to comply with the mod ruling.
Clearly Yehet and Messi shouldn't be allowed to play with other Ruse players, and the approach to the others should possibly be relaxed.
we have to punish them before they break the rules, otherwise they might break the rules

He isn't a babysitter, this isn't a "time-out, go sit in a corner for 15 minutes and not look at each other" case. If they're cheating they're cheating, they've done it in the past rounds if they are infact doing it this round. This is the internet, there are no ages because I could easily be 13 or 30, none of you can prove otherwise. Idc how old they claim to be, he's either proving they're cheating or he's not. Like newjersey said, I've played a lot d games with him and usually when we are aligned differently I win 80% of those games, that doesn't mean he's playing to my win condition. If he can make a pastebin proving they're meta abusing/cheating like was done with xJade over a year ago then he can ban them. However he cannot prohibit them from playing together
But by just refusing them rights to play games together it's acting like there isn't a problem, because if they were cheating then different protocol would be taken. Also his reasoning is that people are of a younger age so they should receive special treatment doesn't make any sense. I don't play comp but I wouldn't want cheaters in my game full stop.

Sure, but meta-abuse is actually sort of fine line. If voluntaryloser wants to try to deal with this problem in some way other than outright removing a family of 15 people from competitive play I don't think that makes him an idiot.

We'd still be stuck on round 100 if meta abusers were banned, or even questioned. If they're "just kids" let them go.
Punishing rule breakers is also a good thing to be doing. If the mods suspect cheating then you punish them for cheating, and if they're not cheating they should be able to play in games together.
