it's like moving to a new school and trying to insert yourself into a really tight-knit clique and you don't get any of the in jokes and stuff. you just kinda laugh along and pretend you understand what's going on and then quietly pull a trusted confident aside afterwards and ask them what the frig just happened.
Well you have to accept that you're not a part of that and find your own way to interact.

i'd like to think i'm doing a pretty good job orienting myself in the social scene here.

i always feel so behind and helpless with all the social connections and such on this website. i'm glad to see someone floundering even the slightest bit because i'm honestly so lost 90% of the time.
The better question is why do you care. If you want something like that get to know the people you talk to.

i already do make an effort to get to know people. i like making social connections, is that such a crime?
