Have the mods released an official statement or come to an official verdict regarding this? The report was closed but nothing was written on it. The case seemed pretty airtight to me, so I don't really see why you'd close it unless you had pretty good evidence that suggests that she didn't cheat...

What privileged information? The only thing that can really shut the case down is confirmation that the farmed 1500 alts belong to players that really don't have the slightest contact with Prevail. If you aren't able to identify the alts then it seems pretty obvious that there was outside communication involved. It's way too big of a coincidence for all of those games to go in those ways when they're alts that farmed and hadn't played for an excess of 10 days before the round and didn't play afterwards.

by the rules, she's only been caught cheating one time, and she has a single friend on the mod team who didn't participate in the investigation

I'd argue that players deserve transparency in situations like this every time. Especially if it's someone who's already cheated three times and is friends with various people on the moderation team.

because the user base has proven time after time after time that they can't handle the slightest bit of privileged information and just because you in particular wouldn't cause problems with it doesn't mean everyone else wouldn't jump at the chance

Why not? There hasn't been a single word posted in public on the site even though people took time out of their days to make convincing cheating cases. The mods are supposed to serve the players and the players should have access to mod conversations w/r/t like this, because it does concern competitive players.
actually, you guys don't really deserve any transparency, and i'm just telling you all this because all the forum whining doesn't get to me

The situation deserves a more transparent handling in general. I'm not looking to name-and-shame mods or bash them, I'm just curious at how they justify the games as being not cheating and I feel like that has to be posted in a public forum if they're not going to ban her.

if you think i'm going to serve other mods up on a silver platter for the forum bashing they'll incur you're an idiot. i can say that they definitely read more games than i did, because i gave up on trying to convince them when jasper flipped out at the insinuation that prevail didn't cheat last time, because he didn't want to be proven wrong

it's not my question to answer, as i've already repeatedly said i think prevail cheated and also cheated 6 months ago, and should've been perma banned from the site before this issue even arose, and would've been if arcbell wasn't in love with an internet teenager and managed to convince jasper not to ban prevail just because the internet teenager didn't want him to
i shouldn't need to say all of that again, but here it is anyway

That's... Actually not true, you just weren't around in the days of pre-crisis Brett. That dude used to spend like an hour after every game he lost blowing up my Skype over how bad everyone else is, I had to disable the alerts on his window
