Mods you do realise if you actually stick to guidelines/rules/precedents, you won't get half the hate you do, cause at least you have those backing you up. Instead you make yourselves look like fools by making judgment calls where everyone's opinions are going to be different.
there is nothing wrong with literal interpretations. if a literal interpretation leads to an illogical conclusion such as this, the blame lies in parameters.

If the only difference between a refund and no refund is the sole living clear getting mled because he didn't claim and lynched at lylo because he didn't claim then you probably have too literal an interpretation of a "spirit of the game" rule
would you rather have refund scrubbers have an advantage, or have people with gamethrowing friends have an advantage?

orc was dead, a noob blue was clear. the noob blue had 2 town reads, the noob blue lead on the bp because of whatever reason. Even if the noob blue had lynched a mafia day 1, the noob blue would have died, leaving the noob BP alive and the noob bp probably had no real reads, the rest of the town had fos'd each other from what I read on the forums (I only read day 1 of the game) but someone implied that people had abunch of bad reads.
i don't see town winning that game anyways but... Refer to the gif at the top of this page

it makes sense since before people would report for almost anything in hopes to get a refund. hell, pranay still does it.
no wonder game-throwers are rampant. if they merely put town at a significant disadvantage, no refund.

games are refunded if the team that got thrown against was at a significant advantage and they lost as a direct result of the throw. at least that's what the rule says :\

yeah that's an interesting refunded games i think i've seen worse cases get refunded. you could argue that the naked blue did say he town read giga and pop, so had the bp claimed maybe he would've lynched mafia... but he was going to die that night so even if he did lynch mafia, the clear would've been the bp who got lynched who might have had different reads. Plus aren't games only refunded if there's no chance of town winning due to the actions of the person being reported.
