You are yet another person here who I think is a much better person than one would suspect simply from you forum personality. I think you get into a lot of petty arguments with people and at face value you look a lot angrier than you actually are. I think sometimes you're a little too open publicly and it makes people inch back a bit. Like Shacky, I think that the persona you embody occasionally rubs people the wrong way, but in fact it really isn't anywhere near an accurate representation of you as an individual at all.

My original impression of you was a salty forum personality - an aged EM user who had grown jaded from being stuck on the website for too long. When we interviewed you, it was actually Dez who felt really strongly that you'd be a great mod, and I followed her lead. I distinctly remember when we first spoke on skype about video games and I though "wow he's a nerd too, we could be pals" and surely enough I was correct. It immediately changed my opinion of you.

I think there's something stifling you from achieving the joy in your life that you have earned (location probably), and that in time, you will find said joy. You seem to be pretty pragmatic and have goals set so I'm confident you'll make it work.

i had no idea dez liked me. i mean, i liked dez until the gafgarion fallout, but i recall being a meanie bo beanie to her.

Honestly, you made me feel kinda old, but I like your spunk. You're the first online friend I've ever met up with in person so it was a new experience. I had a good time and I hope that one of those places pulls through for you man.

I'd say what Patrick said is pretty accurate seeing as I've been in NYC all my life.

It's also not as great as people make it out to be, but some aspects of it are really neat.

weirdest feeling i get is when you see a dude in the middle of the street hollering for a dolalr and i feel really bad and wanna give them something but then it's like all the homeless people on that block mentally send a signal to each other and you're fighting off 3 or 5 homeless people all asking for money

i will say that this place is a money vacuum and i went into some cute mexican resturant thinking my meal would only be 5 or so bucks and it turned out to be 12
i mean, what'd you get? that's a standard price for local restaurants
i've gotten to the point where i wanna try out new things and expand my taste buds so i bought something that looked good but it also turned out to be expensive

i meant like, portion-wise. i pay that much basically if i go to anywhere that isn't a big chain.

is april just like, everyone has living situation issues month or something, since i'm looking for a roommate atm. O________O
one of my good friends is getting a new place soon and offered to split the rent with me, so i'm pretty dang hyped. i hope you find a roommate that doesn't suck.

i'm slightly stressed about it but i've been asking around with friends. so far i've gotten 2 hard "no"s and i have a third friend i'm going to ask. i'd vastly prefer not to have to go on craigslist or something.

for me the real appeal of manhattan is that you can go there expecting to do nothing but walk around and have a great time. one of my favorite memories is of me and my friends getting drunk, walking around the city and getting stopped by some stranger who offered us comedy show tickets.

yeah that's exactly what i told dan while we were walking that i just enjoyed how much there was to do and took it all in

i went to times square on the 2nd night here and id honestly say it's not all that's it cracked up to be

there was a mcdonalds with two floors just to show all the homeless and poor people that they are inadequate

im literally trying to live here so...until im dead or forced to go back home because i blew all my money

henry and olivia was cute enough. i don't really recall any other supports he has that were exceptionally cute except sumia, but all of sumia's supports are great. especially gaius.
