it stands for expected value, and it's a useful way to try to gauge the balance of basic setups

in practice there are things that throw it off but it's better than throwing crap at the wall and assuming it'll work out, "EM makes tends to balance games a lot more than first glance" is incomprehensible

And I wasn't saying that as some kind if law but general observation. I'm not saying all setups will magically turn 60/60 but definitely pure scum hunts should be a bit more balanced than first glance, like 1-2%
No they shouldn't. If the average player didn't completely suck as villager, we'd literally have to give mafia an advantage in pr setups because prs would always be able to edge out mafia. You people will never actually be able to comprehend this because you gave up on DLYV for follow the clear setups.

not necessarily. i mean, yeah, FP players all suck, but they stick to FP. DLYV ended up townsided because mafia got wrecked

Is part of his charm reporting you for harassment when you correct his grammar, and then accusing you of lying about going fishing? Because that just seems freaking weird to me.
