Something just occurred to me. It is a very obvious notion, and it has probably occurred to me before. I hope it has. I am sure it has occurred to others as well. Well, anyway, what occurred to me is that a stranger to EM who is familiar with how Web forums are generally moderated would probably think it's embarrassing the way things are run here. I mean, the mods censor the slightest profanities. You can't post the word Ⓝⓐⓩⓘ. (Note that Ⓝⓐⓩⓘ is not among the aforementioned slightest profanities.) It's embarrassing. The administration should be embarrassed. Germatron is vehemently homophobic, and he can't spell. Arcbell freed Petri. Rondar can't eat pork.
which were both brought on by other people that he had to deal with.

The word p.enal and n.azi Connor . The censor isn't that big of a deal, it's annoying but it's not the end of the world as long as games are untouched. If I wasn't a member of this site and I came here and saw that p.enal was censored here is what I would think
"Haha, these guys think they're all armchair psychologists taking a psychology game seriously and their mods don't know what p.enal means. What a craphole, this site is a total joke."

all things considered, jasper hasn't been the worst admin in the last half a year.

honestly, i'm less concerned about the censor existing for the forum and instead existing for things like video autoplay, images with swears in them, and other stuff that google will never identify but still gets enforced with IC anyway
well i mean, if you want to fight the censor at this point, more power to you, but you'd have to basically tell lucid go to blow himself.

I don't think the mod team is that horrible right now tbh. Most of them are pretty solid choices. I've got a problem with the censor implemented by the morons of the past. That and Sirius being banned

on the mod team, jasper, arcbell, and germ are the only people that stand out to me as noteworthy and capable of leading the team on an issue or something (maybe turquoise in a few months as well). and this is a problem because jasper's shown that he gets frazzled under pressure at times, arcbell has historically been bad in leadership roles, and germ is lethargic about most things that don't directly address him. so really, it just feels like the mod team's full of a bunch of followers.
actually i give up on this post, i probably had a good poitn in here somewhere but i can't express it well.
