I believe that I let SK vs the Mafia be comped, but not Manhunt? Then again, the only real problem I had with manhunt was the point payouts, iirc.

VDLI is night start and has oracle, both terrible for the competition

Personally I think cop goes against the spirit of mafia. It promotes follow the clear strategies and takes away from scumhunting. How is it fair that mafia can be "confirmed" based on night roulettes?

You should ban cop, honestly. And oracle, screw that stuff.

STBS should be the official competitive setup, IMO. And we can vary the number of Templars and Mafia each round.

Conversion roles are inherently bad, the mafia team should be crafted at random. Winning a trophy when you flip yak 10 times is lame

Also when you roll yak your influence on the game is just picking one member of the mafia. That's another reason it's a bad role for the competition

This is a fact whether you like it or not. What if I just play all of my games with my friends and we have a tacit agreement to yak each other because we're friends. And no one should care about vancyon's opinion. Why would you?

What's the problem with yakking each other? Best case scenario you are mafia more often, big deal. Worst case scenario you lose more games because people catch on and shrink

You could argue that half of the EM roles are bad for competition. Night start is more "toxic" than yak to competition even.

It's so easy to abuse yak. That's why it makes a difference. What if you don't even yak n1 and just play with your friend as a townsided "agent for the mafia" with the tacit promise of yakking them later in the game

frankly, when i roll yak, i usually yak people who are good so that way they win for me. it just so happens that i am only friends with good players who win.

also, why is IC moderated in images and autoplay but mods are allowed to screencap "STFU and Lynch" which includes using the Naughty Word
