you were good

only mods who i wouldn't consider to be good are ones who couldn't keep up to a quota or were emotional time bombs that were either so conceited that they couldn't work with others or were visibly incompetent

it was never tough to find new applicants.

new applicants who werent either

a) desperately sucking you off for a mod spot
or
b) complete genitalia

maybe. but applicants in general? not a shortage.

usually its an indicator of above average levels of critical thinking, or at least that's how i would justify it in my head

or if its tough for you to find new applicants just approach players who've been doing good in the competition and haven't applied yet.

modding is an unpleasant experience and most people who sign up to do it are usually looking for gratification in the first place, or some other underlying motive

which is why it's hard to find good mods that actually just want to help the site

also why i almost never modded people who really wanted to be mods.

going into games and looking for good mods is and will always be the single best way of finding good mods because you cna evaluate people when they arent trying to suck you off for a mod spot or are on guard about it.
