i never have and never will believe anyone who says they self-shrunk and they will probably get lynched on ML for looking scummy in my eyes by trying to clear themselves for having self-shrunk but that's just me.
self shrink if u think you're the smartest player on the table. else, shrink the smartest player on the table.
if you establish that self shrinking is optimal on n1 and people start following that strategy then you've got a bunch of shrinks always self shrinking because in their mind, they think that it's better to be clear than to not so they won't really have any motivation to shrink someone else since that defeats the purpose of them being clear.

town can't trust that you're not yakked and just claiming self-shrunk to be clear. the only case when it clears you is when tracker tracks you n1 as well
