Yes, its heavily reliant on N1 actions but it at least promotes healthy town and scum play which helps ease players into competitive behaviour. It is also fun, has guns, has PR fights, and reaches 3 way lylo mosta the time.
Also ftr, I've been playing red hearts all day, training people are decent and actually better than half the people in comp. Not even joking, I've had more pleasant games in red hearts than any gold heart games which speaks more of the comp community than of the casual community. Maybe we need to change our attitudes lol. Please help spread the good word.
Edit: And the setups I played aren't simple either lol. A&D variants, scumhunt setups and scumsided setups where town manages to cooperate, people listen to each other, and the community is a lot less toxic. WE COMP PLAYERS NEED TO CHANGE IF WE WANT PEOPLE TO PLAY MORE COMP GAMES.
stop trying to """fix""" fancy pants. the flaws of fancy pants are what makes FP what it is. anything that resembles FP has all the same flaws and by removing those flaws you are turning the setup into not-FP
If randoms can play grand larceny and A&D, new players should be able to play a basic setup like guns and hookers with ease, with the added benefit of promoting decent townplay and scumplay, which classic and FP fail to accomplish by themselves.
U don't need to make it ur mission to make comp the best place ever. just go ahead and enjoy mafia how U want to enjoy it. if red heart games are your preference, have fun in red hearts
