Hold that it still has flaws. (Albeit, less than most other setups)

Side note, there should be a mode where the night kill kills a role rather than a player. If the player dying n1 affects the reads in the game then there's either some really shifty meta afoot or someone's being an .

for n1 setups, mafia should choose a role to kill instead of a player. same with all role actions

The first 8 games of VDLI I played this round only contained 3 games where I actually got to play, the other games I was either n1ed or I got orc-revealed as mafia day 1. This isn't going to come up all that often, but it proves that the setup is flawed in the aspect that it doesn't have a protective role. I really like the concept of this new version since there's no way either of the afore mentioned events could take place.

The original vdli is balanced, it doesn't need better versions.

Also, lack of knowledge of whether the guy you lynched is mafia or miller will really screw with reads.
