I never said that Bear was an awful dude. I never said that he was a bad mod, nor that his cheating investigations weren't good.
He was rude to people while he was a mod and I don't think he should be rude to people when he has a position of power.
If you saw a mod being rude to someone, would you ever want them to help you? Would you ever want to talk to them? No. This website needs people to join it and stick with it. We don't want to scare users off when they think the staff isn't nice.
if i was in charge of the mod chat i would kick anyone who would try to vent to the other mods. it's honestly pathetic to watch the administrator go and whine to his mod friends about how everyone complains about him and how some mods won't listen
he wasnt being offensive when he posted that so he wasn't in any other threads he did the same

mod chat is going to promote circlejerking just the same as OT does because it's a bunch of people who are familiarized with each other in an environment where people can vent/complain to relieve some stress
there are occasional on-topic issues however, though it shouldn't be expected for it to be always be on-topic
was he rude at times? yeah, but he's not necessarily a bad person. none of you are in the position to judge the character of anybody unless you know them in real life
