11 Food and Drink topics across nearly 4 months sure does justify its own sub-forum.

if you're going to make these changes you should at least consult the people who use the forums as im certain there will be overwhelming dislike

or at least tell us what your goal is with all this

Basically, this just buries the Complaints forum, which a cynic would say is the sole point and goal of this.

I was going to joke about that in the complaint thread, but I know that'd be silly

You can't push this down to "internet hates change" when the change you're making is unnecessary and at odds with good forum layout

i fail to understand how this will make the forums more productive by creating pointless sub-sections that will hardly be posted in and/or checked.

Wouldn't it be terrible if someone got hidden linked, and instead of just deleting these new forums, it also deleted the other user-made forums (Off Topic, and Video Games).

Not that I'm suggesting that would happen... :)
