Stop Orcing the Watcher!

For all of those who play VDLI, how many times did you orc the fellow pr? The answer should be 0. That should be the same in WwtW! The reason why you shouldn't orc the watcher is that town will hopefully do a reasonable cc with the watcher/watched, and the person that you orc'd will be naked to have the hammer. This is also giving a guarantee for a clear in f3 if the watcher is real as the naked blue will be left. I'm getting tired of stupid orcs who orc the other pr and let maf an extra advantage when they don't need to.

Optimal play is to orc a townread who you think might get lynched. If they are town, then you have a guarenteed double CC, which can lead to plenty of partner interactions.

i've lost at least 3 games this round because watcher was janned and everyone followed the mafia.

it depends on what situation the town is in whether you orc the watcher claim or not. sometimes it's good to orc the watcher claim, other times it isn't.

if both prs are alive d2, orcing the watcher is clearly the optimal choice though.

Your argument is that if you don't Orc watcher, there's a small chance that there will be a clear on day 3.

Statistically speaking, 3 way Lylo with no clears is a better situation than 2 lynches between Ccs.

There is a guaranteed chance there will be a clear on the f3 unless orc picked the mafia that visited.

Statistically speaking, a watcher will be a real 4/5 times in f5.

Cool that works when you have one mafia, but what about the other? Lynching one mafia doesn't win a game.

Also if you Orc a mafia, there's a chance they led the kill and watcher has a useless report and there will be 3 way Lylo anyways.

How about this idea: Watcher will always force a cc against him. That means someone that is clear can hammer between him/cc.

Either the naked blue, or the 3rd person not in the cc during f3.

if you wanna be objective on strategies rather than being subjective, then you will have to do a lot of reading and research. i am the only one who can be objective about strategies. also it depends on the situation in game whether you orc the other pr or not.

it's not a bad strategy, it just ensures a quick fiveway. i personally would rather just try to orc the mafia that didn't visit first :-)
