What can mods do to help Sandbox out? I know we get accused of catering to the "comp" players a lot, and I want to have us do more to help Sandbox too.

Overall I think how mods approach sandbox is fine. I can't think of how it could be improved.
I pretty much agree with foxie and sanic, people who should be moderating from sandbox should be from sandbox, naturally, since not only will they know how the community thinks but also they will be familiar faces to sandbox which is nice i guess
what if you partaking in learning about marine life is epicmafia related.

Yeh that's one of the reasons I used to make regular stops into sandbox, at least lobby chat. It helps if people get to know you as a human being and not just as a robot who does reports. But even then people still get pretty angry sometimes. 0=)
That's mainly because not everyone had the opportunity to get to know the mods first-hand. Most encounters are through reports, where people get frustrated if the person they reported walks free, or if they get a vio for a report. If there were some way to get the mods to sit down and talk for a bit with the community, maybe join a few games for those that are less active in forums/chatbox. For example everyone that knows kino and hima knows that they are trying their hardest and are just but the people that just just come on for a few games see them as "people with power a.k.a the mod team that doesn't care."
Yeah understandable. We have to deal with community violation reports (IC, HC, Harassment, etc) but people who get reported for claiming virgin as fool are for your mods.
That's true, we really only show up to give people violations in this lobby.
Also idk I think there will always be a certain amount of dissatisfaction and discontent from people in sb even towards the sb mods, seeing as how half the people in sb perceive them as 'social justice mods' and seem to dislike it intensely. This especially applies to harassment/hc reports.
tbh I think mods from sandbox are most suitable to moderate sandbox, and we have at least two active good wholesome family friendly mods who aren't even corrupt that I know of so we're good
if reports from sandbox are moderated by people from sandbox, I don't think there will ever be grievances from anyone other than the reported person, whereas if bear moderates reports from sandbox it will be negged

FTR, I'm glad this thread was made and I'm pretty sure a lot of users will have things to say. I'm still fairly new to sandbox so I don't have anything to say in particular.
This was actually meant to be a serious thread, Satan. As much as I'd love to partake in learning about marine life, this was meant to be epicmafia related.
