Why do you choose to cry about a possibly terrible cop who killed a probably terrible citizen, of all things
its less about that, and more about the trend i have been observing. including an entirely unjustified murder by police in my own town. you make valid points, but overall its a disturbing trend
jackabout 12 years ago
The root of all this hysteria is senseless violence. A teenager was shot, allegedly with his hands in the air signaling surrender. That is the only account we've heard. That is senseless violence. Then when protesters show, the cops show up in riot gear and tear gas. An unnecessary reaction. This then leads to protests getting violent and molotovs getting thrown at police. Violence breeds violence

if he was still able to retaliate after multiple bullets had hit him, and attempted to do so, then and only then would the officer have justification to kill him

I see you are an enemy of Petricigy. I retract my previous posts

correction: killed for no reason.

once a threat is disabled, police have no cause or reason (by their own rules) to murder them
Who cares

These f*ckers shot my dear friend after he robbed a convenience store. The motherfricking injustice ... It's payback time biatch *throws Molotov cocktails at police*

Looting and setting fire to a convenience store is a great way to demonstrate the sickening racism that pollutes American police departments.
Petaabout 12 years ago
No one ever protests murders committed by thugs, druggies, and gangsters, but a bad cop is a big deal, man.

but this all started because a black man was shot by police for no reason last week

Agreed re: armed robbery being no reason for police retaliation.

More news: 2 headshots, one was the fatal injury, and contrary to a witness who claimed one shot was a back shot, they all were front shots.

A window was busted with a brick, the employees locked themselves in a storage room to protect themselves, and an employee said ''i am very thankful that the police line was there.'' ~~

Well thank you for your input in my thread, I appreciated hearing your stance!!! We're pretty similar in stance I think.

Most nights, you do realize that people are shooting off fireworks, these riots have postponed school in the area for a week already--perhaps more. There is a curfew imposed upon some of the area that has not participated in any protests. The police are there to protect the residents, keep looting away, and try to get it calm enough for the children to be able to start school tomorrow. Nothing seems to be helping, but I truly hope some solution comes.

The teargas tonight was to get people away from a McDonald's which had been overrun with protestors and the employees were fearing for their safety. The police got the people away so they could go in an get the employees out. =/

One cop did it, not all. I have seen many cops apologize to Brown's family, I believe there is a universal sorrow at what had happened.
i realize that not all cops are evil but they literally try as hard as they can to train them to be evil nowadays

There's no sorrow among those who are firing into the crowds and gassing children
