When I cannot sleep, I take Melatonin...which is a vitamin supplement you can buy at any local store. I take it whenever my mind will not shut off. One pill....20 minutes later...I am passed out...and I stay asleep all night. The pill does give you CRAZY dreams...but it is safer than Ambien. I would recommend it! Hopefully you will get to feeling better!!!
