Hello, everyone. I am trying to figure out improvements to the game to make it more user-friendly, and I think expanding the vocab (the words that, if said, end up red and underlined and let you hover over them for a definition) would be a great step towards this.
First, though, I need to know what all is on the vocab in its current form. Some acronyms/initialisms are in the current vocab, and some are not. Some roles are in the current vocab, and some are not. I do not think there is a complete list anywhere. It may be in the code, but I cannot find it.
If you could, if anything is in the vocab, comment it and what it gives as the definition
In a separate thread (not this one please) we can work on what should be in the vocab.
FOS [Fingers of Suspicion] This is when a Villager notices another player acting suspisciously. Generally, this is used in place of voting the person to let everyone be aware of your suspiscion. (I thought it was FOCUS of Suspicion, am I dumb?}
FMPOV [From My Point of View] Let's people know that you are speaking from your perspective / view point.
GY [Graveyard] After someone is lynched or killed, they end up in the Graveyard which is a place for dead people to spectate and converse.
Hypo [Hypo Claim] This is a strategy that is used when there is an investigate role with no protection. This is done by all of the town claiming cop and posting a report. This way, if the cop is killed at night, you can look back and see his report.
Inno [Innocent] Refers to a Cop or Tracker report that would indicate that someone is aligned with the village.
LYLO [Lynch or Lose] A situation that forces the Town to lynch the mafia or else they lose the game.
MYLO [Mislynch and Lose] A situation in which, if the Town lynches wrong, then the mafia will win.
ML [Mislynch] This occurs when Town lynches a Town-sided role.
NL [No lynch] This is when the town decides to lynch no body during the Day.
OMGUS [Oh My God You Suck] Voting a player simply because they voted you.
Ty Alyssa, though someone in game told me how to use the console, and I have all 29 now.
They are:
BW [Bandwagon] When one person votes a player, and the whole town follows, without having substantial evidence.
Blue [Villager] Blue is another phrase that people use to refer to anyone who's role is Villager.
CC [Counter-claim] A claim that contradicts another role claim that was made.
Now before I upload the rest, perhaps we can have the definitions stay up for more than one second? I don't even have enough time to copy/paste, let alone read the next one.
Some of those DO have vocab codes, but the role name (at least typed out as the role name is) is not it. A new user would not know, for instance, that for Queen Bee you need to enter it as one word to get the vocab.
