seems OP at first glance, even if the action is unique per game.
-basically a detective for 90% of roles including mafia, since you know what meetings the person you infiltrate has. -more than half of mafia roles can't do their night actions on their partner, so you can know who mafia is when you can't hook someone, etc. -if theres 1 or 2 maf left, it can be used offensively forcing NK on maf, or doccing himself, or gunning himself...
A message doesn't appear though when an infiltration occurs. Mafia wont know.
Also, the role of the Infiltrator doesn't just rely on him being able to spy on Mafia meetings. Since he's also able to control the selected mafia's night action, he can (for example) infiltrate a hooker & then no-hook.
And if an infiltration fails, then the Infiltrator will know the player they selected isn't mafia / doesn't attend meetings.
Another idea is that, the infiltrator is able to see the identities of everyone in the meeting, but like a seer, if the last maf gets lynched & selects Infiltrator, town loses.
Yes but could not the mafia just guise test the infiltrator, because I doubt when an infiltration takes place you want a message like, "Someone has infiltrated your meeting!" (Then everyone's identity is hidden).
Or would it just consist of mafia not having their identities hidden (which could work like a guiser).
Idk I think making it completely anon for everybody could work, this is kinda a weird role to wrap your head around
