I'm gay, but not feminine, and its hard to guess that I'm not straight. I rushed a fraternity recently and did not get a bid and heard it was because one of the brothers knew I was gay.
I felt hurt and rejected, so I am deciding to switch colleges and rush at my new one.
be yourself and get to know the brothers at rush - they care more about whether they enjoy hanging out with you than whether you're gay or straight or anything else. if they like hanging out with you and you don't seem like a huge risk (i.e. the guy that gets blackout and starts destroying everything) you should be fine. but don't try too hard (everyone sees through that), just relax and be yourself and you'll find a house where you feel like you vibe/belong
