The forum mafia IV will be hosted next month, in the meantime I have a fun setup i would like to host.
The game will be different than the forum mafias for two reasons :
This is not an informed minority (maf) vs uninformed majority (town) game. This game will pit two teams of 6 people against each other, with 1 president and 5 pr each, with a third party player, for a total of 13.
This is an Open Setup, meaning every role in play (except the third party) will be known from the start.
The game will be focused much less on mechanics and more on reads (associative reads, as people don't know their partners, they only know their president), so this game will require participation and posting from all players.
As soon as we reach 13 confirmed players the roles will be sent out and the game will begin on the following day.
Day 1 will last 96 hours, other days will last 72. Nights will be as quick as people input their actions, there is no private chat.

About the halfbro thing, I did notice something important. We all know our prez (not sure what green knows though), the prez have mostly no information, and the half-bros have one more piece of information than everybody else (that would be who the other half-bros are). IMO this means if they decide to out, both teams might benefit from it. (yay for cooperation and screwing over torre's game lul)
After all, halfbro is kind of a pointless role and neither team would really benefit from killing the other team's halfbro.
I haven't seen everyone respond to my stuff though, so i am not necessarily going to take back any of the things I said except for the fact that I obviously made a fake green pm message.
If that's the case, getting the third party first would be almost be not practical as president will most likely be narrowed down enough for the vigs to shoot
okay after reading the rules it says that green win would not interfere with red/blue win, and they are neutral at the start (not biased to help red or blue).
This is similar to killer mechanic.
Such as killer in manhunt, they can either try to go for the Solo win or win with mafia cooperation.
Keep in mind we don't know what information they have (might have a list of everyone's roles) or what powers they have (might be able to kill anyone they wish to kill).
I'm down for finding the third party. It will probably take the combined efforts of all cops though. I don't think we can easily find him day one, reads can only get you that far. (Besides I was under the impression that steelix is the third party anyway)
Also anything I said could be correct. Except for the fake role pm. He did say that I faked the role pm about the third party.
Even if I am third party, that may/may not be what the actual ability is.
Not only might they be kingmaker, they can also be killer. I do not believe that according to Torres storyline, that the lone green would be a powerless or fool character.
And for the benefit of both teams, I propose that we try to get out who we believe is the third party first, and THEN let the chaos continue.
