When mimic visits mafia, they only self-visit.
When mimic visits town, they visit self and the town -> the game double checks the role of the visited and they make the "Role Box" to reappears. In the case of Mimic onto pr, the new box is the new role (which is blue because they got mimiced).
But when blue get mimiced.. the box reappears as villager seemingly for no reason. Blue can know if they got mimiced if their box was "reset".
That means the same way caroler can clear people if they claim to be caroled, mimic can clear blue if they claim to have their role box "reset",
my bad, didn’t get what you were saying before tracker gets drunk visit report onto original guier when guiser is hiding as someone else - sounds like a weird bug lol
i'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to work, the tracker sees the report of who the drunk chose at night (but in this case if guiser is drunked they couldn't have guised out so guiser = guised)
also from what i've heard the box exploit is fixed now, only pr's get the box when they change to blue, blues don't get notified when they are mimic'd anymore
read what bottle said, the tooltip is misleading and makes it sound like mimic won't visit if targeting mafia, so they thought dissent was cleared for being visited
@Denial : changing the tooltip is not a solution if the role isnt fixed. Regardless of what the tooltip says if its common knowledge that the mimic does not reset mafia's box.
Also can someone explain what the hella box is and how we can see it refreshing? What if an afk blue is mimiced? Would they not see it? Or is it going to be fixed and should we not care? Yesterday this mimic was trying to get me lynched cause I didn’t claim my box resetting and I was blue and idek how to..
they do get visited by mimic mechanics tho i was guiser, and dissent mimic'd on me. tracker caught him visiting me and self i was basically autocleared even though i was maf
