As some of you may know we have had issues with pedophilia on epicmafia in the past.

While I don't know everything I can only pray that no young kids have ever gotten hurt.

I think this is a real issue worth focusing on.

As pedophilia is an actual CRIME where as racial slurs are not.

So I would recommend a couple of solutions:

1) Require that when people sign up they can solve a math equation proving they are older then 13. Maybe some basic algebra or something.

2) On sign-up have a quick rundown of the dangers of the internet, and how not to become someones lunch.

3) Put a if you see something say something notice, in the lobby.

Remove Marriage

1) Ban Marriage for anyone under the age of 13, 13 year olds don't need to get married.

Ideally remove Marriage altogether as epicmafia isn't a dating site, and it's more of a gimmick then an indication of true love and devotion. Most people who are "married" to each, don't really know the other person. This is dangerous and allows predators to easily make multiple accounts and take advantage of their "partners".

Also catfishes are plentiful, and people can easily lie about their age and everything about them.

It's also create's pressure on the "un-married" members to try to find a partner.

I ask you why would you have a marriage feature on a site who's intended demographic is largely children?

New Rule

Currently, all we have to protect minors is this rule.

X-rated Material

Posting links, images, or descriptions that moderators consider to be x-rated, including links and descriptions on the forums. If in game, in comments, or on the lobby walls, change to 24 hour game suspension and then total ban

This rule does not cover asking minors for nudes.

So I would recommend creating these rules.

Protect Minors

Do not request child p-rn

You are not allowed to ask anyone under the age of 18 for nudes.

2) 1 month ban

3) Ip Ban

Also do not believe every accusation but seek truth.

Innocent until proven guilty.
