We can indeed skip all the warnings and remove them altogether.

but stright ban is not a good option.

there should be sanction that are harsh yet not the harshest if you know what i mean.

How difficult do you think it is to not say anything racist? No one that says something racist should get a "warning", they should be banned.

Expires in 4 months
1. Warning
2. 72 Hour Forum and/or lobby Suspension

This is what i did.

Its harsh enough but still lets players play and give them chance to repend.
this is almost the exact same as the current hc rule except you've included increments of suspension that dont work on the current system

I know, i just edited the rules from 2 years ago and posted them on here as a pastebin. It wasnt a big edit, just 1-2 small changes.

BUT a longer suspencion is better than 24 hours or 12 hours.

You shouldn't make them inpossible harsh, you should just make them harsher.

72 hours sounds nice. Its 3 days. People can always quit for 1 day and start again.

Giving them more time to calm down and rethin is a good idea than stright ban.

Yes. Subjectivity in this matter would cause a lot of arguing and people trying to make their usage of slurs okay in instances it's not. By objectively banning the usage of racial/homophobic/etc slurs, you ensure that there's no room for misinterpreting the rules, and people skitting around it by not using it "maliciously"

Regarding harassment, i'm not sure if i understood correctly, but do you want it to be rephrased without the part where it says "repeated attacks" so it's harsher and this way it might work in a better way?

Harrasment should be dealt with swifter in my opinion. Generally speaking, it seems that most users need to report an individual a number of times before they are given a harrasment vio.

Lucid asked us to come up with a new rule that deals with racial slurs and also asked us to make it harsher than the original HC rule so it's his wish.

Let me see if i understood correctly what were some of the best suggestions here and if you agree with them:

Since it only takes 2 vios to get site banned the 1st one shouldn't be a warning and it should be harsher and the 2nd one should be site ban.

As pointed out there's already a rule on hateful comments and it makes it pretty clear that derogatory remarks are not welcome.

Since lucid is around how about you pitch to him some censors/filters in-game and be more harsh on people bypassing filters since it's obvious they know it's against the rules?
