Calling all writers! I decided to host a contest for talented writers. The idea is each week there will be a theme, prompt or task and you must create a composition relating to the challenge.
You will have roughly a week to complete your creative works and then the audience will vote for their favourites. I will also be judging you out of 10. Their will be no eliminations, the winner is determined by the amount of points you rack up at the end.
Audition
Here is your entry task.
Write a 300-400 word narrative inspired by one of these visual prompts.
Good luck to everyone who has a go! Message me your submission and I will go over them. You can use a document or write it in the message, I don't mind. Remember the more original and creative the better!
Due by; Friday the 19th of October at 11:59pm EST.

Questions
How many people can participate?
I'm not sure as I don't even know how much interest this will get. I'd like at least 10 and maybe maximum would be 15? Maybe 20 but I don't think this will get 20 peoples interest.
Is this more of a popularity contest?
Since I'm scoring out of 10 not necessarily and viewers will get a few picks to give out votes. If people are worried that's what this competition will become I can make entries anonymous but after a couple of rounds it may be apparent as to which entry is what person.
The girl was right. He’d spent 17 days leaning against the wall of Lucie’s Pizza, at Port de Angeles in Northern California. Or what used to be California and is currently at war with the Southern part of itself. In bold, shining gold, letters Super-Yacht Jameson announced its arrival in the bay.
He stretched the plastoglass doors open and speed walked towards the counter. He had one thumb on the glass, directing his stare towards a 'New Hawaii' pizza, then finally looked up.
"Lucie? Who’d you suppose owns a yacht like that?"
“Hmm?” she poked her head out to see. From behind he resembled a cursed young man with an ageing woman attached to his shoulder. “Some rich son of a dog”
“Yeah I bet.. I’ll have the plain cheese this time. Eating in this time. Please.”
“Mmhmm”
He took his pizza to one of the two-seater plastic chair and tables by the window. The no mess furniture and Lucie’s increased parent like judgement of him eating pizza 17 days in a row, made him feel like a 13-year-old again. He wiped his palms on his jeans. Sweating.
The Jameson’s Prow bobbed critically in agreement. The new arrival looked like a quaint beach town painting had been vandalised with a smear of white acrylic paint. Shimmering figures began emerging on the deck.
Tonight, he was planting a recording device on that yacht.
