18-19 August 2018 15:00 NY time KNOCK-OUT PHASE for Champions Cup and Johto Cup
Rules
Before each match please PM me your team line-up and mention the order in which you want to use your Pokemon;
The tables and schedule will be updated after each round;
The NPCs will have balanced teams and their Pokemon order will always be randomly selected so that players can have a fair match against them;
1st and 2nd places will qualify for the knock-out phase + new feature: 3rd places will qualify for the Johto Cup. There will be a draw and then a knock-out phase where each participant that finished in the 3rd place will face an NPC twice. The winner will advance to the next round until there are only 2 participants in the final.
If anything else comes to mind it will be added here;
UPDATE: Apparently matches CAN end with a draw xD so i've decided to change the rules a bit. 2 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.
Update: when a Pokemon defeats another it gains 1 EXP. If it has 2 evolutions it will need 7 EXP to evolve to the next for, but if it only has 1 evolution it will need 10 EXP to evolve. Let me give you an example to make things easier:
Charmander needs 7 EXP to evolve into Charmeleon. Charmeleon will then need 7 EXP to evolve into Charizard.
It was a long day full of twists and turns, but i hope everyone has warm feelings about this regardless of the results. I'm sorry for any mistakes i might've made, it was tedious to do all this but fun nonetheless. I encourage those of you who haven't already done this, to PM me your team line-up for tomorrow.
