It's come to my attention that this site is currently infested with Feeling types that are here for social engagement over the rational thinking that leads to successful mafia play. Change my mind.

Oof, seeing y'all discriminate against Feeling and Thinking types. Whether y'all truly mean it or not, neither type is more capable of being intelligent than the other, Feelers just put more weight on personal values in decision making, whilst Thinkers put more weight on... well... not personal values.

actually this thing is really real and i bet you are both mad for scoring ISTJ or something inferior like that
Actually, I'm an ENFP, who is a massive fan of typology attempting to implement Carl Jung's ideas into personality types (MBTI, even more for Socionics), but as much as I love it, I acknowledge that it has no practical use in real life, nor does it have any real support amongst psychologists. Despite this, it is bloody interesting to see where it fits in one's own life.

All these ideas about 'personality types' stem from 16Personalities' false ideas using dichotomies and perversion of the OCEAN model. The quiz literally is a disguise for the OCEAN model. MBTI is just a theory for how the brain works with groupings of cognitive functions. If you want pseudoscientific typology that focuses more on personality, look at the fun world of Enneagram or Socionics... or Hogwarts Houses.

I literally arrived at the same conclusion when belle posted that link a few months ago, this shxt is wild!

Leave it to an F type to regurgitate the same argument and expect a different result.

without reading, I can guarantee your argument is better in this one than the other one.

But BMTI is still better indicator of self than zodiac.

No one cares about psuedo-pyschology. The Myers-Briggs doesn't produce any clinically valuable information besides making you feel good.
TheDarkMaster
If y'all don't mind me butting in, Myers-Briggs most certainly is pseudoscientific with little real scientific backing, however if you must talk about it, please do not use that bloody horrible '16personalities' website posing as a test for one's MBTI type but is actually a perversion of the official OCEAN test using Carl Jung's cognitive functions.

Anyway, MBTI is hella fun and interesting as Hell, no harm in looking at it - but '16Personalities' has no actual connection to the theory other than the name.
