If a user enters two (or more) accounts into the tournament, when it's time to tally points, make the user's score the lower of the two.
This discourages players to "run" multiple accounts at the same time -- an unfair tactic used by some of the inner EpicMafia cabal. Some of these "multi accounters" will even play multiple games at the same time. How can an honest player who makes (5 goldhearts/day x 7days/week x 1 account) = 35 weekly attempts at winning ever compete with players making (5 gold hearts/day x 7days/week x 8 accounts) = 280 weekly attempts, across 8 accounts?
Simple math promises that the player using multiple accounts will always fare better in a tournament regardless of actual skill. This is due because EpicMafia is a game that depends, on part, on a random number generator to assign roles etc
But they're offering a compromise. Play multiple accounts, get the results of the lowest score. They're not advocating for a straight up ban or disqualification.

@ the OP, yes let's just completely choke competitive mode out. As it's in decline, it loses all its EU users in one stroke, then we incentivize the last remaining main lobby hardcores to stick to 5 games a day.
then why don't the staff just increase the daily number of hearts that each person can spend in the tournament?
or like, comp fancypants or comp guns and hookers

there would be literally next to no comp games if everyone could only play on 1 account
mafia addicts that play on multiple accounts r keeping this site alive singlehandedly

Your last argument sucks, the game is decided by more than just the roles in the table. Most games can be solved using the n1 kill alone because of meta.
