As some of you may have heard or noticed for yourself, the site is currently down over a vast majority of Europe. This is due to the GDPR coming into effect. For those of you that don't know, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a new regulation in EU law regarding data protection and privacy.
We are unsure of the impact that this will continue to have on Epicmafia, and we cannot give you a definite answer on when the site will be back up for those affected. Lucid is aware of the problem.
The round has been paused for two days to wait it out and allow Europeans to get in contact with people and ask what's going on or use VPNs to access the site. After midnight tonight, the round will be unpaused and we will carry on as normal. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We'll update you guys if we learn anything else. If you have any questions, feel free to ask below or PM a moderator.
Is this why I heard P0rnhub is offering a free VPN called VPNHub? So they don't have to comply with the new terms of service? Wow, wolf in sheep clothing.
easiest way is dl a vpn app like openvpn and use mobile

Okay, I don't know sh!t about GDPR, but I assume that if e.g. a US citizen take a visit to the EU (or just gets on a proxy) it won't suddenly make GDPR apply to them the same way as if they were EU citizens, even though they're going to have an EU IP address. So what about just putting it in terms of service that EU citizens aren't allowed to use the site? Or putting a notification about it on the mainpage? Or make everyone tick a box stating they're not EU citizens? Would that really be any less efficient than banning ips, which actually clearly doesn't have much to do with residency?
i don't really know enough to answer this but basically what it boils down to is that lucid is too lazy to do anything like this so he just axed european access
