Well if you do plan on running again, weareking showed me a pretty good way to not get discouraged while you do it.
Get into the mindset that the round is gonna last ten days, which equals 50 games. Assume that you'll win 15 by default and lose 15 by default. In other words, you won't have much of an impact in those games. The other 20 games are where the outcome depends on you.
Obviously the numbers will be a bit different but 35 wins will almost always get you in the top 3
3rd tba but likely matt so not offering a preliminary congrats until it happens bc don't want to jinx you.
idk man i don't know if i have the mental fortitude to do a full round again it's a real time suck so i salute all of you who can be committed to do it every round. this was my first time seriously running though in my few years of em (normally i'd just play some hearts here and there) and it was fun while it lasted

Alex would it be okay if I hack you to get myself gold? I know it would be really mean but in a way it would also be a beautiful continuation of the story we started together so long ago.
If I unsuspend myself at the last moment, I'll win gold, and the mods will ban my head off. I'll still be able to play, but I'll be an outlaw, forever condemned to tip-toe along the left hand path.
