In the game that I just played, someone (who actually is a moderator) claimed to have another tab open with his alternate account during the game.
Using his alt, he checks everyone's previous games to see how they play as mafia or town, etc.
Is that not unfair/cheating/OGI/too much META-gaming?
I know that everyone has the potential to do something like that, but I feel as if you should only use material within the game or your own knowledge, rather than spending time finding physical outside-of-game evidence for your claims.
He said "you cant be a one dimensional player" in response to my curiosity.
Is this allowed?
Thanks.

The embarrassing part was that you ignored the game we were playing to write this and started giving 0 effort and not talking which led to your eventual lynch, not the thread itself
And this has been discussed to death many times and meta is totally fair

all I said was that player X cc'd carol as blue in the previous game and basically trolled, then in that game they were playing differently and suggested that they can verify this by opening EM incognito and logging onto an alt to check the game
I even said that you should only scumhunt based on things said in the current game, but if you want to compare their gameplay as a sort of litmus test then the material is available
