Just ban people who lead on the guiser too often. There are too many iconic EM setups with guisers.
nah, if lucid's spaghetti code is actually allowing people to cheat this will be adjusted to by anyone worth a damn at this game pretty quickly. it's not exactly hard to bust a guiser with some dumb metatest

it sucks that guiser might be dead for good but until we get an adult coder for this website we just gotta eat the L on this one bud

Apart from that, I think it's fishy af to cancel a round mid-game just because a specific setup is open to exploits. Why can't mods evaluate this earlier? Perhaps someone of the mod circlejerk wants to trophy but would have failed by now?! :O
Because the bug was being mentioned by players and we can't tell who's possibility exploiting it or not so this is the fairest thing to do.

And the suggestion it's because the mod circlejerk wanted to trophy is ludacris.
The closest person to trophying that's on the mod team that I'm aware of is JM123 who was in the top 5 who was just role modded.

Remove the setups> reset> wait for midnight(est) readd the setups. Pause it for 24 hours so everyone can get through their hearts.

The round winners of last round have been instructed by myself to not comp anything until further notice while this issue is resolved

I'm going to bed now so when the admin is online he will make a decision but I relayed everything to the other moderators

yeah, i'm not trying to blow up your decision making here, i know y'alls job isn't the easiest thing in the world. just maybe think a bit about the people that were high on the leaderboard and just got hosed out of a trophy and then also played hearts at midnight for the "new" round

Well what I could actually do is refund the games and then unrefund them right before the round begins but that's a bit much

Doing this would make another reset needless actually but I'm not going to do that on my own

giga i appreciate you trying to do the right thing but giving a double f.uck you to the people industrious enough to actually try to play their hearts is a scummy move

y'all have already screwed half the leaderboard (not that you wanted to, I understand the circumstances), please don't screw them again
8 games have been played since the reset, I think that's a lot better than me doing this after say 100 games
yeah i know, the sooner the better, but please don't take those 8 games away from those runners a second time
The fewer that suffer the better

those 8 games were played legit and disguiser-free and should be allowed to stand regardless of mod decision about comped setups
